The Ghost Hunt wiki is about the manga/anime series Ghost Hunt. Both are based off of the light novel series by Fuyumi Ono. The novel is not widely published, so information about it is not generally included on this site. Summary of Ghost Hunt
Ghost Hunt is a paranormal/mystery series that takes place over about a year. The main character is a high school student named Mai Taniyama, who works for Kazuya Shibuya (Naru), the young president of Shibuya Psychic Research. Along the way, she meets his silent assistant, a Monk, a shrine maiden, an Australian priest, a TV medium, and a young, intelligent researcher--and, of course, a few ghosts! The series focuses on a range of supernatural and psychic phenomena, as well as religion, particularly in Japanese culture. Despite the genre, it is not known for being a particularly scary series, although it has its chill-inducing moments. It's best feature is the interesting relationship between each character and the thoughtful, intelligent approach the author takes to her supernatural phenomena.
